It's time for a new adventure with brand new Tour-X5. Finally, after many years of service, it is time for the faithful Tour-X4 to retire and hereby the replacement is introduced Tour-X5 which is a completely newly designed helmet, packed with many new features. As with everything from Arai, any improvement is made with priority on improved protection and this new model is ever closer to the ideal "Arai form". One of the biggest changes is the visor system and its visor. The new visor system VAS-A, which originates from the VAS V system, has been designed to maximize the performance of Glancing-Off, which means more surface to distribute the shock energy while being easy to install and remove the visor and screen. The visor itself has been redesigned for increased field of view and better glancing-off performance and is now a max vision-visor, so that a pinlock-visor can easily be installed. With the helmet comes a large Pinlock max vision 120 XLT. The new VAS-A-Visir system also makes it easier to switch to introduced at Quantic. Complemented with the new AR-spoiler and the latest version of the Delta channel, Delta Duct 6, and to add further now with a brand new hook valve, the ventilation system in Tour-X5 will have an air flow to keep you cool no matter what. In addition, the internal ventilation gate can flow air to the mouth or visor for increased impeal. As with all Arai models, ventilation parts such as the 3D logo type, AR spoiler and Delta duct 6 are designed so they release at one point to provide maximum GLANCING OFF performance. The interior is fully removable and has an adjustable layer on the sides and the rear of the interior around the head for adapted fit. The windscreen at the nose has been redesigned and makes the use of Goggles easier. The cheek pads have Facial Contour System (FCS) which gives a fixed fit both on and off the road. The helmet's opening is now ten mm larger to more easily put on and off the helmet. If desired, extra tow protection (es chincover) can be retrofitted and the hook strap's housing can be replaced. The helmet is prepared for mounting Intercom by there is a place at cheek pads, a rear pocket for cabling and smooth surface on the shell any of the other visor options without the need for tools.
